Travel Guide Overview

Deciding where to live in a city as big as Shanghai can be overwhelming. Yet, often times where we choose to live can shape our perception of a city and impact our overall travel experience.

In the case of Shanghai, attractions for the most part are relatively concentrated compared to the size of the entire city. The green highlighted area on the map houses almost all major Shanghai attractions. As a general rule of thumb, visitors should stick to the Puxi districts (numbered yellow area on the map) and the western part of Pudong.

Among the Puxi Districts, 1- Huangpu, 5 – Jiang’an, 2- Luwan, 3 – Xuhui are preferred.
